Cooking Class: Cook a Tropical-Flavored Spanish Fare

Transport to a summer day in Spain as you prepare a colorful array of traditional Spanish dishes in this fun cooking class. Chef Ridic will teach you culinary skills as you learn new international recipes to add to your meal planning at home. 


Begin by preparing a refreshing cold watermelon gazpacho with the bright flavors of cucumber and mint paired with the spice of serrano chili. Next, create a regional classic: ceviche with succulent white fish, shallots, avocado and cilantro. Enjoy Spanish-style grillades and grits with perfectly-cooked round steak and creamy gravy for a comforting main dish. End your class with a sweet Spanish orange cake flavored with juicy apricot marmalade and orange liqueur.

We had a total blast with Chef Ridic! The recipes were delicious and super accessible. We learned some fun skills along the way (knife, the order for sauteeing veggies, etc.) I now have a fun party trick in making ceviche for group events. We had a lot of leftovers for the next day too. Ridic is very talented and we had a ton of fun hanging out with him. Highly, highly recommend! We'll definitely have him join us for another event soon!
