Pottery Class: Introduction to Hugged Pottery
In this one-of-a-kind pottery class, you’ll create a truly special piece of art to keep or gift to someone dear.
The magic happens when you hug a freshly thrown vase, whether solo or with loved ones, leaving an imprint that makes the piece uniquely yours. Your creation becomes a lasting memory of the moment, captured in clay. The class includes a 30-minute demonstration on throwing pottery. You’ll get to try your hand at the wheel and feel the magic of pottery-making. Don’t miss this chance to create a meaningful piece of art that’s as unique as your hug!
Here's what you can expect:
- Hug your vase: Sculpt your piece by hugging a freshly thrown vase, either individually or with a loved one. Larger vases will be made by Instructor Jennifer for multiple huggers, requiring more time, skills and materials.
- Customize your creation: Choose from 4 beautiful glaze colors to bring your hugged vase to life. Each piece will be fired to perfection.
Your personalized vase will be ready for pick-up within 4 weeks. The pots must be picked up in person. No shipping is offered under any circumstances, so make sure you’re able to retrieve your one-of-a-kind creation!
